We met Greg and his lovely wife when we were matched with them for our pre-marital counseling through our church. One of the sessions was about handling finances as a married couple, and during our discussion, Greg mentioned his passion for helping people in this area. We were both good about saving our money, but we had no idea where to start when it came to things like combining our finances, buying a house, investing, etc. so we were excited to take Greg up on his offer!     

We met several times with Greg, and he was able to provide us resources and education on various topics. He asked about our goals and gave us personalized action items to work on in order to meet those goals including our main goal of buying a house. He gave us tips on how to maximize our savings, a breakdown of our monthly expenses, and educated us on the process of buying a home. He used easy-to-understand spreadsheets to show estimates of how much we could afford for a home and explained other costs to consider. We were able to make the changes he suggested and are hoping to buy a house by the end of the year! 

Working with Greg was truly wonderful! Through all of our sessions, he was always very encouraging and well prepared. He never made us feel judged about what we did not know, and he still regularly checks in with us on both our financial progress and life updates.
